Politicians Encouraging/Harboring Illegals Should Be In Jail

SUMMARY: Any and all elected representatives who encourage and/or harbor illegal immigrants are violating United States Code and should be removed from office (with no benefits) and jailed, as per the law.

Especially ANY politician who supports sanctuary cities, counties or states should be in jail:

Title 42 - United States Code
Boston Public Library

According to the US DOJ website and our laws:

“1907. TITLE 8, U.S.C. 1324(A) OFFENSES

“Harboring — Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it an offense for any person who — knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation.

“Encouraging/Inducing — Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) makes it an offense for any person who — encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.

sanctuary_cities“With regard to violations of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(ii)-(iv) and (v)(ii), domestic transportation, harboring, encouraging/inducing, or aiding/abetting, the basic statutory maximum term of imprisonment is 5 years, unless the offense was committed for commercial advantage or private financial gain, in which case the maximum term of imprisonment is 10 years.”

There are currently more than 200 “sanctuary” cities, counties and states on record in these United States. That means that the elected representatives of each of those “sanctuary” locations have violated, minimally, Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) by harboring illegals, while some violate Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) by encouraging them.

Examples of violations of the above United States Codes are bountiful, but one of the most visible is Nancy Pelosi who brags about her city, San Francisco, being a “sanctuary” city and how they are better for it.  She is assisting in harboring those in our country illegally.

Another is Chuck Schumer who vocally encourages illegal aliens to enter the United States without any form of vetting or background check.

Jerry Brown is, of course, very much in violation.

In addition to breaking the law, these politicians who encourage illegals to enter and then harbor, and take care of, them are doing so with taxpayer (i.e., hard-working USA Citizen) money, to the estimated tune of over $80 Billion per year.

Elected officials were voted in to represent us not to break the law and spend us into oblivion.

They must be held accountable for their illegal actions!

John F Kennedy and Conspiracies

With all the talk about Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation and bribes, and pay-for-play, and Benghazi, and emails, and people dying under mysterious circumstances, and, well, pretty much everything to do with the Hillary, one may be reminded about a president who did not last long, who did not like the kinds of games that the Clintons play.
John F. KennedyOn January 27, 1961, a week after he was inaugurated, then President John F. Kennedy gave a talk to the American Newspaper Publishers Association in which he openly talked about a conspiracy that, in all probability, got him assassinated.

He was a person who was not about to be a puppet for anyone.

These are some of his words from the longer, overall talk.

“The very word ‘secrecy’ is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings.”

“For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed.”

The full 19 minutes of the speech are below:

To deny that there are secret societies is simply ignorance, or, worse, living in denial.

That there are unknown people (or forces, if you will) behind the scenes, pulling strings, is quite apparent.  Our country’s most revered words, contained in the US Constitution and its 27 Amendments, are being slowly eroded, where our freedoms and liberties are being taken away, almost without notice.  Almost.

But there are those who do notice.

And there are those who do not want to notice.  It is hard to confront such evil being done in the guise of “national security” or other such words, for they are designed to make us feel better, safer.

Don’t believe it?  Do your own research to determine what rights you have already lost.  And, yes, you really have lost them.

It would have been great to see what Kennedy could have achieved in two terms in office.  Unfortunately, the power-brokers (those who make and break anyone at will) did not wish to see that happen.

November 22, 1963, stands as one of the biggest blemishes on this country’s leadership.

Government Waste – Pelosi Burned Many Air Miles and Taxpayer Dollars

During Nancy Pelosi’s reign as Speaker of the House she took advantage of, and seriously abused, her position. All at taxpayer expense.

According to documents obtained from the US Air Force, through the Freedom of Information Act, Judicial Watch discovered that during the first nine months of 2010 Pelosi flew 90,155 miles on Air Force aircraft 43 different times. That is an average of almost five flights per month.

An example of one roundtrip flight: A May 6-10, 2010, Congressional Delegation to Afganistan and Germany “to discuss issues of mutual interest in Qatar and Afghanistan, as well as conduct oversight on women’s issues (troops) in Afghanistan and to visit with US troops and meet with government officials in Germany.”

The total cost of military travel was $204,135.00. Makes one wonder what other costs, aside from military, Main Street USA incurred during that trip.

A blazing question is even more basic, however. Why on Earth did Pelosi have to fly to these countries to speak to others about these topics? And a visit to US troops? What could possibly have been achieved by her appearances that would have been of great benefit to American taxpayers?

Perhaps visiting those countries were on her bucket list.

Even more evidence of her blatant disregard towards American citizens is the fact that many of the trips she took were to visit her San Franciso-area home.

Sorry, but this blogger feels that if someone runs for national office they know well in advance that they will have to live in Washington DC and if their family elects not to move then that elected person should foot the bill, through commercial air travel, to visit home. Either that or they can charter a private jet, out of their own pocket, to do so.

Afterall, it is not as if they do not earn a few dollars for talking the talk in DC for several months a year.

It is about time that Capitol Hill discovers webinars and cuts down on excessive and abusive travel, as well as other perks, that they seem to enjoy all too much.

Of note, is that during one two-year period as House Speaker Pelosi racked up military travel expenses of $2,100,744.59. Not a bad perk, Nancy. But, of course, you do feel our pain, don’t you?

Wake Up Amercia – Politicians Do NOT Create The Economy

Citizens of this great country must wake up and realize that politicans do NOT create the economy. In fact, they bleed it, more often than not, through frivolous and zealous spending.

Likewise, the elected representatives of Main Street USA need to realize that government does not affect the economy in ways they think it does.

What really moves the U.S. financially, in all ways, is the private sector. A healthy American business front is the only thing that is needed to turn a poor economic environment into a strong and vibrant one.

Politicians generate tons of rhetoric about “jobs and the economy” and how they have plans to improve these areas for the people.

The only jobs created (or sustained) in any significant volume that add to the economy are in the private sector. And each and every job created by politicos in the public arena costs taxpayers more than the overall benefits produced. Capitol Hill has, for several decades now, grown the public sector into a giant labyrinth of the economy.

Any first year student of United States government knows, in no uncertain terms, that the Founding Fathers did not endorse a vast government body reaching into all areas of society. Quite the opposite. The federal government was formed for a few specific reasons.

They had studied many forms of government, studied the rise and fall of governments, and studied what makes a government good or bad when they wrote and passed the documents creating the United States.

Some knew that any government body is not ideal. Witness Thomas Paine, who said, “Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one.”

The size and scope of government very much concerned them.

Consider that Thomas Jefferson said, “Most bad government has grown out of too much government,” as well as, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

Patrick Henry, fearing an overbearing giant, said, “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government – lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.”

They also knew that people of questionable character and morals would undoutedly gain entry to the public sector.

Noah Webster, the father of American education, wrote as a warning, “If the citizens neglect their duty and place unprincipled men in office, the government will soon be corrupted; laws will be made not for the public good so much as for the selfish or local purposes; Corrupt or incompetent men will be appointed to execute the laws; the public revenues will be squandered on unworthy men; and the rights of the citizens will be violated or disregarded.”

It is now a given that earmarks (legislative provisions) are attached by the hundreds to large pieces of legislation (costing all taxpayers billions) which are, in reality, for the politician’s selfish and local purposes.

Citizens of America need to realize that government today has grown, gradually over scores of years, into something too big to continue to feed. It has bankrupt this nation and yet those elected to represent and serve the people still expect (demand) taxpayers to provide vast sustenance for their “work.”

Government must change. The United States must become, once again, “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” as Abraham Lincoln stated in his Gettysburg Address, and not what it has eroded into – of, for and by the politicians.
