The 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands and meadows known as Longwood Gardens is located in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania, not too far from Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware.
The arboretum was once the home of industrialist Pierre S. du Pont and people have been allowed to visit the incredible displays even prior to his ownership, since about 1798.
Each season brings new life and spendor with management and staff at the gardens going to great lengths providing visitors with a fabulous experience.
